Easter Fun

We took Riley out to the fairgrounds today to meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs. I was pretty sure the big meeting would be fine since she loves animals and would probably think that he was literally a giant bunny. I was right. She sat on his lap for a few photos and gave him a high five before moving on.


Riley was with two of her friends and we lined them up on the edge of the field where all the eggs were waiting. All three of them tried to break through the tape lining the field and we spent a long ten minutes trying to keep them from starting the hunt before all the other kids. Once the horn sounded, they were off and had a fantastic time. Riley took her hunting very seriously and came away with a full basket of eggs. Tomorrow, she'll have her own basket from the Easter bunny and more egg hunting with friends in the neighborhood.
